A stunning vintage double strand cultured saltwater pearl necklace, dating to 1983 and hallmarked in Birmingham. Beautifully finished with a 9ct yellow gold clasp set with an oval-cut garnet and 10 additional cultured saltwater pearls.
The necklace features exceptionally well-matched 6.5mm cream pearls with rich nacre, glossy lustre and a bright, gem-like luminosity. Both strands are individually hand-knotted to silk and remain in excellent condition.
The shorter strand contains 63 pearls and measures approximately 44.5cm, including the clasp. The longer strand contains 69 pearls and measures approximately 50.5cm, including the clasp. The French wires and secure snap clasp are also in excellent condition.

Is my item insured?
We unfortunately cannot be held responsible for items which go missing in the post (rest assured, this is an exceptionally rare situation), we always obtain a receipt to prove that we have fulfilled our duties and have shipped the item via whichever method you selected. If you selected International Tracked delivery then we can file an insurance claim to seek reimbursement for the missing parcel up to the value of £250 (please be aware that any successful insurance claims will be forwarded to the customer upon our receipt of them and not before); however if you selected standard airmail then no compensation can be claimed.

Delivery and PO Boxes
We send all our items Royal Mail Tracked and signed or International Tracked and Signed for. We cannot deliver to PO boxes as we require a signature on delivery for the buyers protection and ours. Expedited shipping can be arranged at extra cost. UK Orders will be delivered within 1-2 working days where possible.
DHL Express Worldwide is a door-to-door time definite service. An equivalent service may be used at our discretion.
Items will arrive where possible the next working day after dispatch.
Customs may hold deliveries up, please respond to your DHL representative asap to avoid delays.
