Crafted by the respected maker C & S Co Ltd, the pencil is clearly stamped 9ct / 375 and bears matching hallmarks inside the lower section, offering strong reassurance of authenticity and quality.
The pencil features charming period engraving which is part of this pieces histroic narrative. This antique pencil shows associated wear commensurate with age with having a hairline fault to one side upon close inspection whch does not deter from the overall look and functionality of the item - the engraving reading:
“G W” and “O.A.A. – EVT June 14th 1919”
This adds wonderful character and suggests a personal presentation piece, possibly commemorative.

Returning Items
RETURNED ITEMS MUST BE SENT BACK USING A FULLY INSURED AND TRACKED SHIPPING SERVICE AS WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSES OR DAMAGES ON UNDER INSURED RETURN ITEMS. NOTE; ROYAL MAIL TRACKED 48 HOUR ONLY COVERS FOR ITEMS UP TO £100 FOR ITEMS OVER THIS VALUE USE SPECIAL DELIVERY SO THAT YOU ARE COVERED. International buyers are responsible for all import duties and costs that may be incurred.
Returned items are at buyers expense. Refunds will be issued when items have been received and inspected. (see shop policies)
Cancellations between dispatch and delivery will be charged for postage and packaging costs incurred plus a 10% restocking charge
Is my item insured?
We unfortunately cannot be held responsible for items which go missing in the post (rest assured, this is an exceptionally rare situation), we always obtain a receipt to prove that we have fulfilled our duties and have shipped the item via whichever method you selected. If you selected International Tracked delivery then we can file an insurance claim to seek reimbursement for the missing parcel up to the value of £250 (please be aware that any successful insurance claims will be forwarded to the customer upon our receipt of them and not before); however if you selected standard airmail then no compensation can be claimed.

Delivery and PO Boxes
We send all our items Royal Mail Tracked and signed or International Tracked and Signed for. We cannot deliver to PO boxes as we require a signature on delivery for the buyers protection and ours. Expedited shipping can be arranged at extra cost. UK Orders will be delivered within 1-2 working days where possible.
DHL Express Worldwide is a door-to-door time definite service. An equivalent service may be used at our discretion.
Items will arrive where possible the next working day after dispatch.
Customs may hold deliveries up, please respond to your DHL representative asap to avoid delays.
A signature will be required upon receipt. We are not responsible for import and customs charges and processing times through customs depts.
