Radiant Cut Bezel set Sapphire Ring in 9ct yellow gold, hallmarked 1962 with a 4.14ct stone. A truly stunning vintage blue sapphire ring of generous proportions bezel set to a 9ct yellow gold setting and shank. The rich blue sapphire being the outstanding center point of this vintage ring. To the inside of the ring there is a hallmark that denotes its 9ct gold quality and makers mark HS, .375 and a date letter for 1962. The sapphire itself is 12.3mm x 7.2 mm wide and is a mixed radiant cut, presidium tested as sapphire and is estimated at approx 4.14 carats. The head of the ring is L16.4 mm x W12 mm and the ring has a flat profile rear shank. There is some very slight wear to a couple of places on the bezel edges when viewed closed, the stone is securely set within, however this ring is in amaing condition for a piece of its era having been cleaned and polished. This wonderful ring is a size O UK or a 7 US and has a weight of 3.6 grams. The antique box is not included this fine vintage sapphire ring will come in a new ring box.

Is my item insured?
We unfortunately cannot be held responsible for items which go missing in the post (rest assured, this is an exceptionally rare situation), we always obtain a receipt to prove that we have fulfilled our duties and have shipped the item via whichever method you selected. If you selected International Tracked delivery then we can file an insurance claim to seek reimbursement for the missing parcel up to the value of £250 (please be aware that any successful insurance claims will be forwarded to the customer upon our receipt of them and not before); however if you selected standard airmail then no compensation can be claimed.
