Victorian silver crescent moon brooch pave set with paste stones to imitate ruby and . The brooch is circa late 1800s and is made from unmarked silver with the stones set to a closed back setting. Set with a plethora of bright red and white paste stones that have been cut and set to mimic high quality rubies and diamonds that were popular during this era. The paste stones offer a quality and yet affordable alternative. The brooch has all stones present and has a C type hook and unsprung pin which is both strong and secure to the piece. Some minor age related wear commensurate with an antique item of its age and era, overall in excellent condition.
Antique box is not included, this fine antique brooch will come in a new box.

Is my item insured?
We unfortunately cannot be held responsible for items which go missing in the post (rest assured, this is an exceptionally rare situation), we always obtain a receipt to prove that we have fulfilled our duties and have shipped the item via whichever method you selected. If you selected International Tracked delivery then we can file an insurance claim to seek reimbursement for the missing parcel up to the value of £250 (please be aware that any successful insurance claims will be forwarded to the customer upon our receipt of them and not before); however if you selected standard airmail then no compensation can be claimed.

We send all our items Royal Mail Tracked and signed or International Tracked and Signed for. We cannot deliver to PO boxes as we require a signature on delivery for the buyers protection and ours. Expidited shipping can be arranged at extra cost. We are not responsible for import and customs charges and processing times through customs depts.
